Sony recently pushed a software update for the latest PS4 system. The latest update is version 1.75. The update adds a few small patches, but the big news is that it comes with support for 3D Blu-ray release. This is a feature that many people have been shouting from the console was released. An Xbox Sony beat with this update, Microsoft also is adding 3D Blu-ray support in the next update of their (expected in August)
This new feature means that those who have a compatible 3D TV, will now be able to play their collection of high-definition Blu-ray 3D discs have been sitting around looking sorry for himself.
PS4 system update comes with Blu-Ray 3D support.
Notably, previous models of Sony, PlayStation 3, has the ability to play Blu-ray 3D. In fact it was able to do so for some time now.

When this setting is enabled, the feature from the PlayStation Store content is automatically downloaded while the system is one of two assistant PS4 or in standby mode. To download while in standby mode, go to (Settings)> [Power Save Settings]> [Set Function available in standby mode], and then turn [Internet Connection].
